Studio Merlin is a concept-led architecture and design studio based in London and Devon, set up in 2022 by Josh Piddock, an Architect with a passion for playfully conceived, useful and well crafted design.

Josh has led notable projects including the refurbishment of the Grade II listed Walworth Town Hall for General Projects whilst at Feix&Merlin Architects, as well as a number of private residences, hotels, restaurants, commercial schemes and housing projects at Project Orange.

Studio Merlin take on projects with a qualitative focus, turning ideas into value by creating buildings and spaces with personality. We try to maximise the potential of each project, with every client and whatever the sector. We imagine and create bold design concepts before bringing them to life with a high attention to detail.

Our skill is our ability to communicate, iterate and realise ideas, working closely with our clients, design, fabrication and construction partners. Our value-add is our ability to build relationships and create memorable stories along the way.
